Parent Participation

The school is governed by a committee of parents which is elected at the AGM. This governing body, together with the principal, meet regularly during the year. They are responsible for policy discussions; forward planning, monitoring financial expenditure and fund raising activities etc. Fund raising events take place once a quarter and involve the whole family. Parents accompany the children on group outings. Mums help with sewing, knitting, baking etc. Parent’s evenings with a speaker addressing a relevant topic are held at intervals during the year.

Snack and After Care Lunch

The children have a daily snacktime at 10h00. Parents are requested to please pack a healthy snack and water in a St Lizzies cooler bag and send to school. If your child is staying for aftercare, they will need a separate container/s for his/her lunch. 

Please note that sweets/chips are only allowed on a Friday – and will be removed from lunch boxes on any other day.
